Align Terms of Service

These terms govern the Align text messaging service.
The service. Align is an introduction service provided to private professional networks. Text messaging is optional and is consented separately: only members who choose to opt in receive conversational text messages from Align on their network's behalf, such as a welcome, occasional questions about their goals, and offers of introductions to other members. Members who do not opt in are never texted, and their network can still reach them the way it does today.
Eligibility and consent. Align messages only members of client networks. Text messaging is optional: a member is texted only after separately choosing to opt in, and accepting membership in a network that uses Align, providing a mobile number, or accepting these terms is not consent to receive text messages. Members can decline, or stop at any time by replying STOP. Consent to messaging is not a condition of membership, purchasing anything, or using the service.
Messaging terms. Message frequency varies, typically a few messages per month. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan. Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving messages; reply HELP for help or contact your network owner. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Acceptable use. The service may not be used to harass, spam, or solicit members. Align may decline to make any introduction and may suspend service to any member or network.
Changes. We may update these terms; the current version always lives at this page.
