Align Privacy Policy

Align ("Align," "we," "us") is a text-based introduction service for private, invitation-only professional networks. This policy describes how we handle information for network members who receive our messages and for visitors who contact us.
Information we collect. When a private network engages Align, the network provides member information: name, mobile phone number, email address, and professional background. Align may supplement this with publicly available professional information and with what members tell us directly in conversation. We collect this information to do one thing: make relevant introductions between members of the same network.
Text messaging. Text messaging is optional and is consented separately: Align texts a member only after that member chooses to opt in, and members who do not opt in are never texted and can still use Align and their network's services. Members who opt in receive conversational SMS/MMS messages: a welcome message, occasional questions about a member's goals, and offers of introductions, which members may accept or decline. Message frequency varies and is typically a few messages per month. Message and data rates may apply. Members can opt out of all messages at any time by replying STOP, and can get help by replying HELP or contacting us at the email below.
No sharing of mobile information. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties. We do not sell personal information. Information is shared only as needed to operate the service (for example, with our messaging delivery provider), within a member's own network as part of a mutually accepted introduction, or as required by law.
Introductions and consent. An introduction is only made when both members say yes. A declined introduction is never disclosed to the other member or to the network.
Data retention and access. We retain member information while the member's network uses Align. Members may request access to or deletion of their information at any time via the contact below or by asking Align directly by text.
